Summit was a band that was started a long time ago. The three of us, (Myself, Ethan, & Dan) have been playing music together one way or another for the last 8 years. It was a band we all really wanted to do, but had a very hard time getting around to. I was busy with My Heart to Joy, Ethan spent most of his time working and Dan was watching a lot of TV. 

Last June, we locked ourselves in Dan’s basement every morning for two weeks and finished the four songs that would make up our first EP “Small Talk”. We recorded with Joe Reinhart for two days at Big Mama’s Warehouse in Philadelphia. Things got a little blurry after that. Mixing, mastering and artwork all took a lot of time, and the project got buried under all of our own busy schedules.

Over a year later, we finally have a finished product. We’ll be posting the entire EP soon, but for now we’ve posted the second song “Dogfight” on bandcamp. Please check it out and share it with your friends! Hopefully we’ll be playing soon too!
